Mindfulness Supervision

Mindfulness Supervision is a collaborative endeavour that provides a safe space for teachers of Mindfulness Based Approaches and Interventions to mindfully explore and inquire into any aspect of their mindfulness teaching or personal practice, in service of themselves and their participants.

My background
Having trained as a mindfulness teacher and taught many courses, retreats,
run taster sessions, workshops and training in the private, public and third
sectors over the years, I went on to train as a Mindfulness Supervisor with
the Mindfulness Network. I also bring my experience of studying and practising
Buddhism since 2008, for those who may find that to be significant, however
mindfulness supervision is framed within the context of a secular mindfulness
practice.
My training was in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and I have a clinical background. Since then I have run many 8 week MBCT/MBSR hybrid courses, as well as trained in and taught the Mindfulness in Schools Project's .bF 8 week course, the Finding Peace in a Frantic World 8 week course and the Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living 8 week course.
I continue to design and deliver bespoke in-person and online courses and workshops of varying lengths, individually and in partnership with Tenterden Mindfulness Group and with RUN:ZEN's Mindful Running, that I jointly co-founded.

Mindfulness Supervision as a Requirement
Mindfulness supervision is a requirement for any Mindfulness Teacher who is listed or aims to be listed on the British Association for Mindfulness-based Approaches (BAMBA) teachers website and is therefore following the BAMBA Good Practice Guidelines.

Mindfulness Supervision as Personal and Professional Development
Even if you are not a qualified Mindfulness Teacher as such, anyone who is offering Mindfulness Based Approaches or Interventions can use supervision as an opportunity to reflect on their delivery and the personal practice that underpins delivering mindfulness in an authentic way, to support the process for themselves and their participants.

In-person, online (via zoom) or over the phone
I offer 30 or 60 minute supervision sessions at £60 per hour, either in-person at my private practice, online via zoom or over the phone.

Happy to hear from you!
I am passionate about mindfulness and its potential to benefit people and see it as a privilege to be able to support fellow practitioners who are sharing it with others.
